These are boats or canal barges with beds for between 2 and 12 people, fully equipped for living on board with bedding, crockery, kitchen equipment, bathrooms, etc. They can be hired without a boating licence after an introductory session on navigation and using locks. Hire fees include technical assistance, waterways tax and insurance. They can be hired for various durations including a weekend, a short break, a week or longer.
